A 3.6 Meter high front door commissioned for a private residence in Nairobi, Kenya. Brass, hand embossed and patinated is arranged into an intricate mosaic work on both sides of the door. Inspiration of the embossed and repetitive patterns was taken from observation of the traditional forms of body scarification found on Kenyan tribespeople.
